WRCO’s Arts Center Committee meets to discuss and plan for developing a pan-cultural arts center.  They are looking at reuse of the old Northtown Library as a possibility plus exploring other unused spaces in the community.  “We envision a place where artists of all types from all segments of the community – all faiths and ethnicities, young and old, new residents and long-time residents – can come together to exhibit their works and talents”,  said WRCO Chair, Evelyn Miks. While finding a home for the arts is a longer-term project, WRCO is also reaching out to artists in the community to plan art events at different venues around the neighborhood.
